National Survey of Demographic Dynamics (ENADID)

ENADID is a survey developed with the contribution of the National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatics (Instituto Nacional de Estadística Geografía e Informática - INEGI), the National Institute of Public Health (Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública - INSP) and the National Population Council (Consejo Nacional de Población - CONAPO). It integrates a series of surveys conducted since the late 1970's with the aim of monitoring levels and trends of the main elements of the population sociodemographic dynamics.

Its purposes is to generate information about the level and trends of the basic elements of the population dynamics (fertility, mortality and migration), and to evaluate the content of statistics of births and deaths generated through administrative records (see technical sheet ). The ENADID project has anticipated that it will conduct a survey for the year 2009.

The 2006 survey information is available at the CONAPO web site. Syntax documents provided in this section are based on the 2006 datasets, these can be used to tag variables and their correspondent values.
