National Survey on Social Capital in the Urban Areas (ENCASU) 2006

The ENCASU is a survey developed by the Ministry of Social Development, the National Institute of Public Health and the United Nations Development Program in Mexico (UNDP). It provides information about the forms of social capital, social networks and collective action. The information helps to characterize the social relations of people and how they are used to solve their common needs, such as child care and care of sick relatives, informal borrowing of money or help finding work (see Technical Sheet).

The ENCASU survey information is available at the Sedesol website. Syntax documents provided in this section can be used to tag variables and their correspondent values.
