Who created BDSocial?

In its initial stage the portal BD / Social MX has the participation of three institutions engaged in making information available for researchers, academics, policy makers and public policy makers to facilitate their work of analyzing the data contained in surveys carried out by different institutions in the past. These three institutions are:

INMUJERES is the Federal Government institution responsible for directing the national policy to achieve equal opportunities between women and men, through the institutionalization and mainstreaming gender into the actions of the Mexican state.

FLACSO-México is an independent academic institution of international character that develops teaching programs at the graduate level, and conducts excellence research in the field of Social Sciences. FLACSO Mexico addresses, within a framework of multiple theoretical and methodological pluralities, the problems of contemporary societies from the Latin American reality, and links research with academia whit the purpose to generate knowledge and contribute to the solution of public problems of national and regional scope.

Alianza Cívica, A. C. is an organization dedicated to build democracy and citizenship through citizen monitoring and campaigns for the promotion of electoral reforms. Its scope of action includes the promotion of citizen participation in public affairs and observation of Governance.
