National Survey on Violence Against Women (ENVIM) 2003
The ENVIM is a survey conducted by the Ministry of Health (Secretaría de Salud) between 2002 and 2003.Its main objective is to estimate the prevalence of family violence in women that require health care services from public institutions in the first and second level in Mexico, and emphasize the main factors that operate as barriers or facilitators in the search process of out coming violence problems (see technical sheet).
