National Survey on the Dynamics of Household Relationships (ENDIREH)

The ENDIREH is a survey developed by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática - INEGI) with the participation of various institutions involved in the study of gender-based violence and household relationships, such as the National Women's Institute (INMUJERES), the Special Prosecutor Agency for Attention to Crimes Related to Acts of Violence Against Women (FEVIM), the Chamber of Deputies, the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) and the National Commission for the Development of Indigenous Peoples (CDI). The first survey was developed in 2003 with a second survey in 2006. Its main objective is to produce information that shows the prevalence, frequency and magnitude of the different types of gender-based violence among women over 15 years of age in places like home, school, work and social networks, as well as the physical and emotional consequences generated from their husband's violence. The Survey is presented at national and state level (see Technical Sheet).

This dataset is free and available INEGI at the website, previous registration is required. For the institutions responsible of this survey is very useful to keep a list of all data users. Syntax documents provided in this section can be used to tag variables and their correspondent values.
