National Survey on dating violence (ENVIN)

The ENVIN is a survey conducted in 2007 by the Mexican institute of Youth (Instituto Mexicano de la Juventud - IMJUVE). Its main objective is to have basic information about the frequency, magnitude and dynamics of violence that occurs in dating relationships among Mexican youth from 15 to 24 years old. The information provided helps to identify the factors that increase a person's vulnerability to remain in violent relationships, in social, family and individual environments, as well as in the context of relationships and perceptions of young people (see technical sheet).

This dataset is free and available at the INEGI website, previous registration is required. For the institutions responsible of this survey is very useful to keep a list of all data users. Syntax documents provided in this section can be used to tag variables and their correspondent values.
