National Survey of Rural Households in Mexico (ENHRUM) 2002

The ENHRUM was raised by the Program for the Study of Economic Change and Sustainability of Mexican Agriculture (PRECESAM), from the Centre for Economic Studies at El Colegio de Mexico and the Rural Economies of the Americas and Pacific Rim at the University of California at Davis. Its aim is to obtain representative information at country level on the rural economy and society of Mexico. It allows the generation of empirical studies on the effects of agricultural and trade reforms on production, income and migration of households and the rural sector (see factsheet).

The survey database is available for free at the ENHRUM page of the PRECESAM / Colegio de Mexico site after registration. The syntax documents provided in this section can help you use the databases as they have the variable labels and their values.
